The Future of CMA Fest: What to Expect at the New Nissan Stadium

  • by

The upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans means that CMA Fest will undergo changes in the near future. The event will not remain the same due to this development.

The festival's main shows have been held at Nissan Stadium for many years, but they will be moved to a new venue once construction is finished.

The Country Music Association has confirmed that they will continue collaborating with the Tennessee Titans for CMA Fest each year. They are excited to host country fans in Nashville for the concerts at the new stadium.

A new stadium, named the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed east of the existing Nissan Stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The building process is expected to start this year, and the stadium is projected to open in 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will have a roof and be enclosed, focusing on providing fans with an exceptional experience. It will offer panoramic views of Nashville, a transparent roof, and 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest is an event for country music fans to come together and enjoy live performances. It started in 1972 as Fan Fair with 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium but has now grown into a huge annual event. Thousands of people from all over the world come to Music City to watch over 250 acts perform on nine stages.

The CMA Fest 2024 will take place from June 6-9 in the heart of Nashville.
