Chris Young addresses his fans for the first time following his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentions that he is still trying to make sense of the events of the past week, which involved allegations of assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and reassure him that they don't believe he did any of the things he's been accused of.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should ever have to experience something like this. The positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by extending his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backward into the bar.
"I am still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young shares at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he mentions that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new release "Double Down" will be available this Friday, February 2nd, starting at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I value you, I care for you, and I am grateful," Young expresses.
