Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest and Dropped Charges: “Feeling the Love

Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges for assault. He shared that he is still trying to make sense of the tumultuous week he experienced.

After spending the night of Jan. 22 in jail, the singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who supported him.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have many friends and fans show their support and believe in his innocence.

"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what I went through. The positive side was feeling grateful for the love and support shown by others."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

The security camera footage captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall over inside the bar.

Young expresses that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events that took place in the past week. He mentions in the video that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.

The album "Double Down" will be released at midnight on Friday, February 2nd.

"Turn up the volume and have fun. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I appreciate your support," Young expresses.
