Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest and Dropped Charges: “Feeling the Love and Support

Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to process the events of the past week, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have many friends and fans show their support and reassure him that they do not believe he is guilty of the accusations.

"I am relieved to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what I went through. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

The security camera footage captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing towards him. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.

Young expresses that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the previous week at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.

"Double Down" will be released on Friday night at midnight on February 2nd.

"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
