Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media for the friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed gratitude for the support he received from friends and fans who believed in his innocence and reassured him that they stood by him.
"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through something like that is not something I would want anyone to experience. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support that was shown."
The event occurred at a restaurant called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by extending his arm. In response, the agent pushes Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.
Young expresses that he is still working through the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. Towards the end of the video, he mentions that the support from his fans encouraged him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new album "Double Down" will be released this Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I value you, I care for you, and I am grateful," Young expresses.
