Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest and Dropped Charges: “The Love and Support Meant the World

Chris Young recently spoke with fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with a tumultuous week that involved being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed in the video that the support he received from friends and fans meant a lot to him. They reassured him that they believed in his innocence and stood by his side.

It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what happened. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support shown.

The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House in the heart of Nashville.

The security camera footage captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble back into the bar and fall down.

Young mentions that he is still dealing with the aftermath of false accusations and recent events in the past week. He also shares that the support from fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The new album "Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.

"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to express my gratitude," Young states.
