Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest: “I Appreciate You, I Love You, and Thank You

Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since being arrested and having the charges against him dropped. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of a tumultuous week, which involved his arrest on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22.

Young expressed gratitude for the support from friends and fans who reassured him that they believed in his innocence.

"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. However, what stood out was the overwhelming love and support shown."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stumble back into the bar and fall down.

Young explains in the video that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events of the past week. He mentions that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.

The new release "Double Down" will be available this Friday at midnight, starting February 2nd.

"Turn up the volume, savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I am thankful," Young expresses.
