Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time following his arrest and subsequent dropped charges for assault. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week.
After spending the night of Jan. 22 in jail, the singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who supported him.

Young expressed in the video how much it meant to them to have friends and fans show support and believe in their innocence.
It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through such a situation is not something I would want anyone to experience. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support that was shown.
The event occurred at a location called the Dawg House in the downtown area of Nashville.
The security camera footage captures Young appearing composed before he tries to catch the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. In response, the agent pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
Young mentions in the video that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events of the past week. He also shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.
"Turn up the volume, savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I appreciate you," Young expresses.
