Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to understand and make sense of the events that transpired, including being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have numerous friends and fans show their support and disbelief in the accusations against him.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. Nobody should have to experience something like this. The positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support."
The event occurred at a restaurant called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security footage, Young appears composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to trip and fall backwards into the bar.
In the video, Young mentions that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. Towards the end of the video, he shares that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
