Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since his recent arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He shared that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to his friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and assure him that they do not believe he did any of the things he was accused of.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what happened. The positive side was the overwhelming love and support shown."
The situation occurred at a restaurant called Dawg House in the city center of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing relaxed before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.
"I am still trying to understand and deal with the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new song "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
