Chris Young has addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the turbulent week that involved his arrest on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media for friends and fans who supported him during his time in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and believe in his innocence.
"It's a relief to see the charges dropped. No one should have to go through something like that. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received."
The event occurred at a restaurant called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security camera footage, Young can be seen remaining composed before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stagger backwards and fall inside the bar.
Young expresses that he is still dealing with the aftermath of false accusations and events from the previous week. Towards the end of the video, he shares that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new album "Double Down" will be released this Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and savor it. I value you, I care for you, and I am grateful," Young expresses.
