Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events from the past week, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to his friends and fans who supported him after he was arrested on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to her to have friends and fans support her and believe in her innocence.
"It's a relief to see the charges dropped. No one should have to experience something like this. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support."
The situation occurred at the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captured Young behaving calmly before he tried to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by extending his arm. The agent then pushed Young, causing him to stagger backwards into the bar and fall down.
"I am still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week," Young explains at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he mentions that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
