Chris Young is speaking to his fans for the first time since his arrest and the charges against him were dropped. He shared that he is still trying to make sense of the tumultuous week that included him being arrested for assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" used social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was arrested on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and believe in him, despite the accusations.
"It is comforting to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support I received from others."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
The security camera footage captures Young appearing calm as he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing towards him. In response, the agent pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new album "Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have fun. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
