Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events of the past week, which involved him being taken into custody for assault allegations.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Update: Chris Young has been found innocent of all charges following his arrest at a bar in Nashville

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have many friends and fans support him and assure him that they don't believe he was involved in any of the accusations.

"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through something like that is not something I would wish on anyone. However, the positive aspect was seeing the overwhelming love and support from others."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

Footage from a security camera captured Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing with his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to trip backwards into the bar and fall down.

"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.

"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I appreciate your kindness," Young expresses.
