Family First: Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Video Features Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi's new song "Cowboys and Plowboys" features some special guest stars. While Bryan and Pardi are the main stars, there are other familiar faces in the video that stand out and make a memorable appearance.

Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan is seen with his wife Caroline Boyer, whom he has been married to for 17 years, sitting together in a field watching the sunset. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife Summer on a dance floor, and holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while riding horseback in another scene.

It is logical that Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song provides a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two artists, with Pardi portraying a cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, hence being the plowboy.

Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. He explained to Taste of Country Nights that the song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the music video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which was set on the beach. Pardi, on the other hand, included his Australian Cattle Dog named Cowboy in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his album Mr. Saturday Night was released in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last fall. In February, he and his wife Summer welcomed their first child, Presley. They have announced that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
