Season 2 of 'Farmer Wants a Wife' is coming back, featuring farmers searching for love. The show will premiere on February 1, just before Valentine's Day.
Here is a preview of the next release, with details about the farmers who are seeking romantic connections.
The host of the Fox show, Jennifer Nettles, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying increased emotions, energy, and responsiveness, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.
The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their perfect partners.
However, there is a unique twist to this situation – each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.
Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been involved in roping and riding since he was young, and it's a passion that runs deep in his family. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and has a variety of wildlife, as well as a historic cabin from the 19th century where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed being outdoors, which inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with both horses and cattle.
At the age of 29, Brandon Rogers manages a 1,000-acre farm growing potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. Center is a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by farmland. As a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the legacy his father started.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old, comes from a long line of farmers and ranchers in Bartow, Florida. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is experienced and responsible, having taken on a bigger role in his family after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old. He now helps support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
