Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to consider himself a cowboy rather than a farmer as he is a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been roping and riding since he was a young boy, and it's a passion that runs in his family. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be with him but also be a caring mother figure for his child.
27-year-old Mitchell Kolinsky is a new farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, who comes from a family of farmers. His large property is home to many animals and includes a historic cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood surrounded by horses and nature inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently operates his own farm, raising both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. He lives in a small town with only one traffic light, surrounded by fields. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.
At the age of 23, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is the fourth generation of citrus and cattle farmers in Bartow, Florida. His expansive property encompasses 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers displays a level of wisdom that surpasses his years. Following the passing of his father when he was just 12 years old, he took on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
