The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.
However, there is a unique aspect to this situation. Each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and stay with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer as he is a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding have been a part of his life since childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. He lives on a large piece of land that is home to many animals and an old cabin from the 1800s. Kolinsky shares the cabin with his three dogs. Having grown up around horses and enjoying the outdoors, he decided to pursue a career in farming. Today, he runs his own farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, 29 years old, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and produces potatoes and barley. The town where he resides is small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As the son of a farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and is now carrying on the family business. He aims to uphold the legacy that his father began.
Nathan Smothers, who is 23 years old, comes from a long line of farmers and is continuing the tradition as a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after his father passed away when he was 12, taking on the responsibility of helping his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
