According to Jennifer Nettles, who is the host of the Fox show, the women on this season are displaying more emotions, energy, and reactivity, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States in search of their soulmates.
However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This allows the women to experience firsthand what it's like to be married to a farmer.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy rather than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since his childhood, and it runs in his family. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family of farmers. His large piece of land is home to various animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and has always enjoyed being outside, which inspired him to pursue a farming career. Today, he owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers grew up assisting his father on the farm. He is now carrying on the family tradition by running the business and aims to uphold the legacy his father began.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of citrus and cattle farmers. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown great responsibility and maturity since losing his father at 12, taking on the role of helping care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
