Inside Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s Heartwarming ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Music Video with Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for the new duet "Cowboys and Plowboys" by Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi features some special guest stars who steal the spotlight alongside the two co-stars. Familiar faces make appearances in the video.

Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are seen embracing in a field and enjoying a sunset together. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife, Summer, in one scene, and holding his daughter Presley while they ride horses in another scene.

It is understandable why Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song gives a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two singers, with Pardi representing the cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, making him the plowboy.

Pardi mentioned to Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. The song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of including their family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mom in the music video for his 2020 single "One Margarita," which had a beach theme. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi released "Cowboys and Plowboys" as his latest music following his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last year. He and his wife Summer had their first child, Presley, in February, and they have announced that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
