Inside the Heartwarming Cameos in Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Music Video

  • by

The music video for the duet "Cowboys and Plowboys" by Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan features some special guest stars who steal the spotlight alongside the two main artists.

Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are seen embracing in a field while watching the sunset. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife, Summer, on a dance floor and holding his daughter, Presley, while riding horses in another scene.

Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects their personal backgrounds. Pardi, who grew up on the West Coast, portrays the cowboy, while Bryan, whose family are peanut farmers, represents the plowboy in the video.

During an interview with Taste of Country Nights, Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to perform together. The song revolves around the theme of cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the music video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020, which was set on a beach. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi's latest song, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first release since his album Mr. Saturday Night in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last year. He and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley in February, and they have revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
