Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized for his dedication to helping underprivileged children by receiving a significant award. Throughout his career as a country music artist, he has consistently supported organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged and at-risk young people.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back in their professional endeavors.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, with a focus on those facing socioeconomic challenges. Brown, who faced hardships like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, believes that having a safe space like the organization provides would have greatly benefited him during his youth.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children the chance to participate in special experiences. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including a dinner where he shared his personal story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country music artist's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized before. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his dedication to their cause.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included popular country music artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was recognized with this award in the previous year.
