Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has shown a strong dedication to supporting underprivileged children by being involved with organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since the beginning of his career as a popular country music artist.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their dedication to supporting children and their focus on charitable work.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, a yearly recognition given to artists who prioritize philanthropy in their work.

He will be honored at CRS Honors, an event occurring on February 29th in Nashville as part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aim to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for the safe and inclusive community that the organization strives to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children special opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, even including dinner as he shared his personal story with them. Additionally, he has helped revive a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country musician's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include popular country music artists like Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
