Kane Brown has consistently shown his support for underprivileged kids by being involved with organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He has recently been recognized for his dedication to helping at-risk youth.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer known for the song "I Can Feel It" for their continued dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.
Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities as an important aspect of their careers.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to give children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges, a chance for success and belonging. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for the same supportive environment that the organization strives to create for young people.
Aside from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities by providing tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter. This included dinner and sharing his personal story with the group. Additionally, he has helped rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
