Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist. He has consistently shown support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the dedication of the singer of "I Can Feel It" in supporting children and focusing on other charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to recognize artists who prioritize philanthropy in their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, with a focus on those facing socioeconomic challenges. Brown, who faced hardships such as homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed his desire for a safe and inclusive space like the one the organization offers for young people.

Apart from donating money, such as funding the refurbishment of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also personally given opportunities to children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 children and 4 adults from a local organization, including a meal where he shared his personal story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in reviving a local organization in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in previous years. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
