Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has consistently shown support for underprivileged children by being actively involved in organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which aim to provide opportunities for at-risk youth. This dedication to helping those in need has earned him a significant award.

Currently, the country music radio industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their ongoing dedication to assisting children and their focus on other charitable endeavors.

Brown has won the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a component of this year's Country Radio Seminar.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America strives to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for the same safe and welcoming space that the organization aims to create for young people.

Apart from donating money for projects like renovating a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also offered personal experiences for children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including a meal, and shared his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.

The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

In the past, the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award has been given to artists like Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
