Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown, a popular country artist, has always been dedicated to helping underprivileged children by supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This commitment to providing opportunities for at-risk youth has earned him a significant award.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to assisting children and focusing on various charitable endeavors.

Brown has recently been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, a yearly accolade that recognizes artists who prioritize giving back to their communities.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, believes that having a safe space like the organization's clubs would have greatly benefited him as a young person.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also given kids opportunities personally. For example, he gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner, and shared his own story with them. He has also helped to rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the winner of the award last year.
