Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children. Throughout his career as a country music artist, Brown has shown strong support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer opportunities to at-risk youth.

Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer known for "I Can Feel It" for their consistent dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable initiatives.

Brown has been awarded the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities as a significant aspect of their career.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a component of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children in need, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, has expressed that he wishes he had access to the safe and inclusive community that this organization strives to create for kids and teenagers.

Aside from donating money, for example to renovate a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given kids opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has helped rebuild a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Tracy Lawrence, who received the award last year.
