Kane Brown has been recognized for his dedication to helping underprivileged children by receiving a significant award. Throughout his career as a popular country singer, Brown has consistently shown his support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to help disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their continued dedication to assisting children and placing importance on other charitable initiatives.
Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, a yearly recognition given to artists who prioritize giving back in their professional endeavors.
He will be honored at CRS Honors, a ceremony happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to create a supportive environment for children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who experienced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, believes that the organization's efforts to offer a safe space for young people are crucial for their well-being.
Aside from donating money, such as for the refurbishment of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, including a meal as he shared his personal story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in reviving a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
