Kane Brown’s Dedication to Helping Underprivileged Kids Lands Him Prestigious CRS Artist Humanitarian Award

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children. Since the beginning of his career as a popular country singer, Brown has shown strong support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer opportunities to disadvantaged and at-risk young people.

Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their continuous dedication to assisting children and prioritizing various charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities in their careers.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to give children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic challenges, a supportive community and opportunities for growth. Brown, who faced hardships like homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for the safe and inclusive environment that the organization strives to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, such as funding a gym renovation in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities personally. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, which included dinner and sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in rebuilding a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tennessee.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of this award last year.
