In a recent interview, Clarkson mentioned her weight loss and attributed it to following her doctor's advice. She also credited her move to New York City for helping her develop healthier habits both mentally and physically.
She expressed her dissatisfaction with living in Los Angeles for a long time, stating that she was in need of a new beginning.
Clarkson moved her two children to the West Coast because they were also struggling. The family likes to stay active by walking around the city and taking their dogs to the park.
She credits her weight loss to her diet, mentioning that she consumes a balanced mix of foods and sticks to it 90 percent of the time because a high-protein diet works well for her.
Clarkson made a joke about being a fan of meat because she is from Texas, and she apologized to any vegetarians in the audience.
The singer made a decision to move to New York and relocate her TV show after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock was finalized in early 2022.
