Jennifer Nettles, the presenter of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying heightened emotions, energy, and reactivity, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

The second season of the show Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their true partners and companions.

Each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm, giving these women a firsthand experience of life as a farmer's spouse.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding started in childhood and continues to be a major part of his life. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced dad to a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky is a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family that did not have a history in farming. His large property has a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and spending much time outdoors inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently runs his own farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. Center is a small town with only one traffic light and is surrounded by agricultural land. Rogers is following in his father's footsteps as a second-generation farmer, having grown up working on the farm with his dad. He is committed to carrying on the family business and preserving the legacy that his father started.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old, comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His expansive property consists of 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers shows maturity beyond his years. He had to take on responsibilities early in life after losing his father at age 12, helping to support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time.
