Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Growing up, Ferrell has always been involved in roping and riding, and it is a passion that runs deep in his family. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a nurturing figure for his child.
At the age of 27, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer who is the first in his family to pursue this line of work. He lives in Mount Juliet, Tenn, where his property is filled with various animals and includes a historic cabin from the 19th century. Kolinsky shares his home with his three dogs. His upbringing involved being around horses and spending time outside, which led him to choose a career in farming. He is now the proud owner of a farm that has horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colo that specializes in growing potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is small with minimal infrastructure, such as only one stoplight, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and is now carrying on the family business, aiming to uphold the legacy his father started.
At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and has a strong connection to farming. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida, with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers shows maturity and responsibility, especially since he lost his father when he was only 12 years old. Since then, he has taken on the role of helping to care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will air on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
