The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.
However, the unique part of this situation is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of the show Farmer Wants a Wife. One of them is Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old man who prefers to be called a cowboy instead of a farmer as he works as a team roper. He owns and operates a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a strong passion for roping and riding, which he has been doing since he was a young child. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a loving and caring mother figure for his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a first-generation farmer located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large property is home to various wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Growing up around horses and spending much of his time outdoors, Kolinsky was inspired to pursue a career in farming. He now manages his own farm, which includes both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. He resides in a small town with only one stoplight, nestled among vast farmlands. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His property is substantial, with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his youth, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father at 12, taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
