Jennifer Nettles, the host of a show on Fox, acknowledges that this season's female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some drama on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique twist in which every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to join them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of being a farmer's spouse.

Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he takes care of horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding started in his childhood and has continued into his adult life. Ferrell, who is one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a nurturing figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His farm has a variety of animals and an old cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and nature inspired him to pursue a career in farming, and he now runs his own farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town where he resides is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the legacy his father began.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old, comes from a long line of farmers and is currently a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to his cattle. Despite his young age, he has shown maturity and responsibility beyond his years after taking on more responsibilities following the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now helps take care of his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM ET on the Fox network.
