The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" is returning, featuring farmers who are searching for love. The show will air its premiere on February 1, perfectly timed for Valentine's Day.
Here is a preview of the next release, which includes a detailed look at the farmers searching for romantic relationships.
Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledged that the women on this season are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are seeking their life partners.
The interesting part is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he works as a team roper. He owns a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has a strong passion for roping and riding, which he has been doing since he was a young child. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a loving mother to his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and filled with wildlife, including a historic cabin from the 19th century where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood surrounded by horses and nature inspired him to become a farmer, and he now runs his own farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town where he resides is very small, with only one traffic light, and is mostly surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and has now taken over the family business. He is committed to carrying on the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old, comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and more than 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is known for his wisdom and maturity, having taken on responsibilities at an early age after the loss of his father when he was just 12. He has since been helping to care for his mother and three sisters.
Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
