Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are seeking their perfect partners.

However, the unique aspect is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to join them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a complete understanding of the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to refer to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, which is home to horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding runs deep, as he has been involved in it since he was young. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old first-time farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, has a large property with abundant wildlife and a historic cabin from the 1800s. He resides in the cabin with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and his love for the outdoors led him to pursue a farming career. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado, where he grows potatoes and barley on a 1,000-acre plot of land. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up working on the farm alongside his father. He is committed to carrying on the family business and preserving the legacy that his father started.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and grew up on a farm in Bartow, Fla. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having taken on a significant role in caring for his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was 12 years old.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time.
