The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.
However, there is a unique element to this situation where every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to truly understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.
Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to identify as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as his main role is as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has a passion for roping and riding that dates back to his childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be in a relationship with him but also be a supportive mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His vast property is home to abundant wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing surrounded by horses and outdoor activities inspired him to enter the farming industry. He now owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a farming family, Rogers worked on the farm with his father since he was a child. He is now continuing the family business and aims to carry on the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to take on more responsibilities after his father passed away when he was 12, including helping to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time.
