Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife introduces viewers to Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old cowboy from Sikeston, Missouri. He considers himself a team roper rather than a farmer, as he manages a 50-acre farm with horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since he was young and is now a divorced father to a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family that did not have previous experience in farming. His large property has abundant wildlife and includes a cabin from the 19th century, which is where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outdoors, leading him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. Center is a small town with only one traffic light and is surrounded by farmland. Rogers is following in his father's footsteps as a second generation farmer and spent his early years helping out on the farm. He is dedicated to carrying on his family's farming legacy.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of citrus and cattle farmers. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now takes on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
