Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions, energy, and responsiveness, which may result in some dramatic moments on the show.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

In a unique arrangement, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, which is home to horses and cattle. Ferrell has a passion for roping and riding that he has carried with him since childhood. As one of the more experienced farmers on the show, he is a divorced father to a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, aged 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and filled with wildlife, including a 19th century cabin where he resides with his three dogs. Growing up around horses and spending much of his time outdoors inspired him to follow a farming career path. He now runs his own farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is very small, with just one stoplight, and is surrounded by farmland. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the legacy his father started.

At the age of 23, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers with a strong connection to the land. He is a fourth-generation farmer in Bartow, Florida, where he manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite being the youngest farmer on the show, Smothers shows a wisdom and maturity beyond his years. He had to take on responsibilities at a young age after losing his father when he was 12, stepping up to help care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
