Jennifer Nettles, the host of a show on Fox, acknowledges that this season the women are displaying more emotions and energy, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, the unique aspect is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to join them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to identify as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as his main role is as a "team roper". He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Mo., where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a strong passion for roping and riding, which he has been doing since childhood. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is spacious and filled with various forms of wildlife, as well as a historical cabin from the 19th century where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing surrounded by horses and nature inspired him to pursue a career in farming, leading him to now own his own farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, age 29, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. He lives in a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by farmland. Being a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the legacy his father began.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His property is extensive, with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility, especially after losing his father when he was just 12 years old. Since then, he has taken on the role of helping to care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will air on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
