Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, who is 42 years old, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer because his main job is team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since he was a young boy. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced dad with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky is a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and home to many animals, including a 19th century cabin where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and has always enjoyed spending time outdoors, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. Center is a small town with only one traffic light, and it is surrounded by farmland. Rogers is following in his father's footsteps as a second-generation farmer, having spent his youth working alongside his dad on the farm. He is dedicated to carrying on the family business and preserving the legacy that his father began.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. He manages a large property with 300 acres for farming and over 500 acres for raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after his father passed away when he was just 12. He now takes on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
