Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, describes himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. He has a deep-rooted passion for roping and riding since his childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large piece of land is home to various wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and has always enjoyed spending time outdoors, leading him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he owns his own farm where he raises horses and cattle.
At 29 years old, Brandon Rogers manages a large farm in Center, Colorado, where he grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is very small and rural, with only one stoplight and surrounded by farmland. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers has been working on the farm since he was a child, alongside his father. He is now dedicated to continuing the family business and carrying on the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father at the age of 12, taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on February 1st at 9PM ET.
