Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. With a lifelong passion for roping and riding, Ferrell has been involved in these activities since he was a young boy. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. In addition to seeking a partner, Ferrell is looking for someone who can also be a caring mother to his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a new farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large piece of land is home to many animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed being outside, which inspired him to pursue a farming career. He currently runs his own farm with horses and cows.
At 29 years old, Brandon Rogers runs a large farm in Center, Colorado, growing potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. Center is a small town with just one traffic light, surrounded by fields. Rogers is following in his father's footsteps as a second-generation farmer, having grown up helping out on the farm. He is dedicated to carrying on his father's legacy by running the family business.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, he has shown maturity and responsibility since losing his father at 12, taking on the role of caring for his mother and three sisters.
Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 9PM ET.
