Jennifer Nettles, who is the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that the women on this season are displaying more intense emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some heated moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different regions of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

In an interesting twist, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will give the women a firsthand look at the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will introduce viewers to Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old man who considers himself a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has a passion for roping and riding that he has had since childhood. As one of the older farmers featured on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to diverse wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and his love for the outdoors inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He now runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, is in charge of a large potato and barley farm that covers 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with just one traffic light, and it is surrounded by agricultural land. Being a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm. He is currently running the family business and aims to carry on the tradition that his father began.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly due to the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old. Since then, he has taken on responsibilities to help care for his mother and three sisters.

Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox at 9PM ET on Thursday, February 1st.
