Jennifer Nettles, the host of a Fox show, acknowledges that this season the female contestants are showing more emotions, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.

In an interesting twist, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and experience life on their farm. This will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of the reality TV show "Farmer Wants a Wife":

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as he works as a team roper on his 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri. He has a passion for roping and riding that began in childhood. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father to a 12-year-old daughter and is seeking a partner who can also be a caring mother figure to his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work as a farmer. His large property is home to various animals and includes a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood was filled with horses and outdoor activities, inspiring him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans over 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town where he resides is very small, with just one stoplight, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of citrus and cattle farmers. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown wisdom and responsibility, especially after losing his father when he was just 12 years old. He has taken on the role of helping to care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
