Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers the title of cowboy over farmer, as he is a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has a passion for roping and riding that he has had since childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ferrell is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him, but also a caring mother figure to his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family of farmers. His large property includes a variety of animals and a historical cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time in nature, which inspired him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he is the proud owner of his own farm, complete with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm that grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As the son of a farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm. He now runs the family business and aims to carry on the legacy that his father began.
At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His expansive property consists of 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres of land used for raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father when he was just 12 years old. He has taken on the responsibility of helping to support his mother and three sisters.
