Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some drama on the farm.

The upcoming season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers hailing from different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.

However, the unique aspect is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to reside with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to identify as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a passion for roping and riding that dates back to his childhood. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ty is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to abundant wildlife and an old cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and developed a love for the outdoors, leading him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he owns a farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers is a 29-year-old farmer who manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. He resides in a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by farmland. As a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on his father's legacy.

Nathan Smothers, aged 23, comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having had to take on a significant role in caring for his family after the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
