Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as his main role is as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding runs deep, starting from his childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
At the age of 27, Mitchell Kolinsky is a first-generation farmer located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large property is home to a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Having grown up around horses and spending much of his time outdoors, Kolinsky was inspired to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm of his own where he raises both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a 1,000-acre farm growing potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small with only one traffic light and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the legacy started by his father.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is the fourth generation of citrus and cattle farmers in his family. His farm consists of 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father at 12, taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
