Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a passion for roping and riding that he has had since childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Meet Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and teeming with wildlife, and he resides in a 19th century cabin with his three dogs. Raised around horses and with a love for the outdoors, Kolinsky decided to make farming his career. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with just one stoplight, and is surrounded by farmland. He comes from a family of farmers and has been working on the farm with his father since he was a child. Rogers is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of his father by continuing to work in the family business.
Nathan Smothers, who is 23 years old, comes from a family with a long history of farming. He is a fourth-generation farmer of citrus and cattle in Bartow, Florida. His property is extensive, with 300 acres used for farming and over 500 acres designated for cattle. Despite being the youngest farmer on the show, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility beyond his age. He had to take on more responsibilities at a young age after losing his father when he was just 12 years old, stepping up to help care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
